On the plus side, I liked the characters enough to read all three books. Their stories were all similar but easy to enjoy.

On the minus side, the repetition of words and phrases and phrasing. The misused words (bathing suite). So many time-line editorial gaffes (finished eating ribs, moving on to watermelon, invited Wes to sit down to dinner with them...they all ate ribs). Most of these errors were jarring, too (we'd all seen his limb, meant limp).

Didn't enjoy the work of this award winning author that much that I would read more of her work.

Sweet stories. Each one a"love was right in front of them" kinda story. Happy for the sisters, but would have asked for a bit more depth in each story. They just kind are together and it works, seamlessly. Could have enjoyed a bit more inter-relational conflict. But great simple love stories.
Jill is a great author. She can bring her characters to life while you are reading. S he gave the sisters just he right amount of drama in their lives to make the stories interesting and keeping your attention. I recommend this series to read.
Just finished reading Books 1-3 and loved them. Each sister was vulnerable in their own way and the men in their lives had to work hard to get them to realise their love. I cried and I laughed with each story. I'm very happy to see there are more books in the series. Some editing issues, but nothing to diminish the storytelling
While the story line was mostly predictable, the characters were well described to the point that it made you feel you was right there with them sharing there pain and it made their relationships more enjoyable even though you knew how it would end. In this three box books set I enjoyed Alex and Haley stories more. I enjoyed this series so much that there are seven books in this series to date and I've read all seven and I'm ready for number 8 (there has to be one for Corey). I'll definitely keeping looking for additional books to this series
This is an unusual set of stories, I think. The three West sisters grow up on a ranch near a small Texas community. Their men also grow up in the same town, but leave and then return for various reasons. Then they have to work to earn the love of the West sisters.

This is a spicy set of stories. I have a few nit picky things that bother me about the stories, but not enough to reduce my enjoyment.

"She’d learned one thing in the last few years after seeing both of her sisters fall in love with great men—sometimes you just had to take a chance and hope everything worked out." Thought Haley.
I thought that all three of these books involving Lauren and Chase, Alexis and Grant, and Haley and Wes were all very wholesome, likable, and believable characters. I can't really say that I had a favorite, because all three women were very strong, feisty women. And I love stories about heroines like that the most. I also loved the three strong men who able to finally tame them, or should I say tried since I'm not sure they could ever be completely tamed. lol!

I would have preferred with a little less of the sex scenes, and maybe more of a story line, but that's JMO. Other's may have a completely different opinion.
All the stories are somewhat similar. The West sisters lost their mother to a tornado when they were very young. Ten years later their father dies, leaving the oldest sister to take over the ranch and the care of the younger sisters when she is only 19. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, although it is best that they are read in order. The characters are good, the stories are okay. It took me longer to read them as I found myself wandering off to do other things. There are a few errors that could have been corrected by a good proofreader. Although the stories are okay, I don't find myself wanting to read any further in the series.

Sexual situations may offend some readers.
